Norwegian industrial Black Metallers HELHEIM were formed in October 1992 by Jon (Vocals), and Zorn (all guitars/bass). Later, Zeb joined the crew to handle the synth, samples, and drum programming. The band then recorded two demo's, both using Zeb's 4-track home studio. The first, won the band instant acclaim with the international underground scene, but it was the second demo, that truly established HELHEIM as a band that were the leaders of the Totalitarian Black Metal movement. Shortly after this, the band was offered several record deals from quite a few labels but decided to sign a multi-album contract with Necropolis Records, the darkest label in the world.

In 1995,HELHEIM entered X-Ray studios to record their first masterpiece in the form of a Mini-CD, simply entitled 'Ferris'. The excellent production, killer music, and amazing artwork of vocalist Jon will captivate warriors worldwide...HELHEIM are currently writing brand new material for their upcoming full length opus. The band will then enter the studio once again to lay down their own form of Low... Until then, let this brilliant Mini-CD blow you away. It's something quite more original and unique than most bands in the Black Metal scene today HELHEIM's music will blast you away. Their brilliant orchestrated sound, explosive musicianship, and controversial stance is something that will 'haunt' the Black Metal scene for many years to come.
